My Life According to Me

Just Everything

Well, I really haven't posted anything for a while, so I figure I should do it now. I haven't really done anything too special all summer. I have mostly been working for my parents at their office, but I also had a nannying job earlier this year. I babysat a family in my ward for about a month and I am happy to say that I survived. It was a very hard experience, but I am grateful for the difficulty because it prepared me (somewhat) for being a mother in the future.

A few weeks ago I went down to Utah with my cousin and my brother to be with my grandparents. My grandma helped me sew a skirt that I absolutely adore. It is way cute and it was relatively easy. I really enjoy sewing because it calms me down and I can really relax. Other than sewing I went to a baby shower, went shopping, went laser tagging with my cousins and my brother and it was way fun. We were the only four people in the laser tag room, so we had a free-for-all round and then later we had a team round. Sadly, I lost both times, but I had a blast anyways.

I am very excited for a surprise party that we are throwing for my friend Will. (Hopefully he isn't reading this.) He has been on a mission in Nepal for about a month or so and I am very excited to see him. Fair week is also coming up quite soon and I am excited for that too.

Well, this has been the most boring post in the history of me, but thanks anyways!

Stay Off the Roads!

Oh yes my friends, it is time for me to take driver's ed! Today I actually drove for the first time in my life. Pulling out I hit a curb, cagged a turn or two, attempted a U-turn (yeah, right) and did pretty well everywhere else. I actually ended up getting the right turns down. I did pretty well considering that it was my first time driving and I reluctantly went before my driving partner.
It was pretty fun, but it is a lot pressure worrying about mirrors, cars, the pedal, your speed, turning, stopping, directions, tractors, and the giggles from my partner. There is so much that you are worried about and you can't just stand back and tackle them one at a time. I am getting safe-driver-itos because I notice myself pointing out mistakes in other people's driving. Stuff like "he has his hands at 10 and 2" instead of the revised position (9 and 3) or "she is approaching her car from the rear!"- that can definitely cause a death because you don't know how the oncoming traffic is. See, stuff like that is going to be blurting out of my mouth until I get my own car. Well, maybe even then!
So, here's a word of advice if you want to live- STAY OFF THE ROAD!

Almost Over!

Wow, I haven't really posted anything for a while. So, yes, school is almost over and I am so excited! It seems like I am drowning in homework and study guides, but in the summer, I can just relax. Well, sort of. I have excepted this nannying job for a lady in my ward, so that will bring in some extra $$$ if you know what I mean.
Also, I am already signed up for driver's ed, so that will be interesting. I can't wait to drive, but I am still nervous.(Not nearly as nervous as my dad)

Another random thought, clogging is almost over! Seriously, I have a performance tomorrow, then practice Thursday, Lagoon is next Saturday, and then a party, and then we are done! It has gone by so fast! If I make the tour team, I will be having practices then, but still. It is insane and exciting at the same time.

Well, until the next post, stay chill!

A New Young?

First off, a recap is yet to come. As soon as I get the pictures on the computer, there will be a sight to see. Anyway, I have been trying to convince my parents to let me get a dog for a while now. They say that they don't want to deal with one, but I seriously need something to do this summer besides driver's ed. So, during conference, we were researching different types of dogs. We narrowed down our choice quite a bit and my dad chose his favorites. So far, we are considering a vizsla, a labradoodle, a Labrador retriever, or a Bernese mountain dog. Here are some pics in the order of the names.

Also, our family has been discussing the matter of names. We like lots of things that deal with skiing. We have kinda narrowed it down to Dewey, Dalbello(Bello), Denali, Nixon, and Rozzy. Anyway, we will see how it turns out!

Four Day Weekend and NHD wrap-up.....

Disregarding the title I am going to start off by saying that NHD was pretty okay. We didn't win anything, but we got a pretty decent score. It was hard, but now it's over and lingering in the past makes the future harder to live. My mom says that every question they hard, both hard and easy, I was able to answer intelligently. So, I guess thats a plus. The rest of the day was so fun what with Sub-Way, Kiwi Loco, hardly any school, looking beautiful, new crappy spy-glasses and a free Kiwi Loco shirt, yeah, I had fun. It was just fun having a day out of school with some of my best friends ever.

Okay, now for Snow Basin. We leave tomorrow morning (Friday) at like 6:00 in the morning. We are heading down with James and his kids so we can ski Friday, then on Saturday James and my dad have a PRC meeting which means shopping all day! My mom says that I can get some cute stuff for the cruise. Sunday we are going to Sacrament at Grandma's then we are heading home to ski some more on Monday at Pommy. I know, busy, but some how I survive! Just kidding, I'm so excited. Until next post, peace off and stay smiling!

NHD and other news

What a busy year it's been! School is hard to keep up with. Although, NHD is almost over, so that is good. For those of you who don't know, NHD is National History Day and it's hard. They say that money is the root of all evil, but I believe that it is NHD. This year's topic was: A Debate or Diplomat in History; the Successes, Failures, and Consequences. Hard, right? Well, I did my project with Emi and Nikela, and our topic was capital punishment. It was very hard, but I did gain more understanding of law, what is in the lethal injection, and how hard it would be to sentence someone to death. So, yeah, my brain is still dead, but whatever.
In other news, I am going to get my hair cut today, and I have an idea of what I want, but you never know how something is really going to look. It will be interesting.
Well, tomorrow is another ski day with the school, so that will be really fun. I just hope that Will's board won't get stuck on my skiis again. Haha, o man, that was bad! Anyways, that's a brief post from Jenna, so until another time, PEACE OFF!

Mexico, here I come!

Well, just saying, but it's pretty sweet to know that soon you will be in Mexico partying it up. I am extremely excited! I have a few dillemmas though. First off, I have to share a room with the brothers, which really wasn't an issue the first time when I was nine or ten, but now being 14, I kinda want to be with another girl. (Mady Taylor) The problem is is that a room can only fit 3 and there would be four boys needing a room. I guess Riley might have to be spending the night on the floor. Another issue is that there isn't really anyone my age, but they are pretty close. The ship offers these "groups" for certain ages, and the thing is is that I can either go to the 12-14 year old group and be by myself and also be one of the oldest kids and also the most beautiful, or I can fib about my age and go with 3 other kids including Connor, and be one of the youngest and still the most beautiful. I have no idea what to do! I mean, for most of the time I will be touring Mexico, but still, it is fun to stay up all night with complete strangers. Leave me a comment and let me know what I should do! Thanks.

Merry Christmas to Me!

WOW! This has been the best Christmas ever for my family. Especially me. I got tons of candy, movies,a new full-length mirror which was desperately needed, slippers,$50,my own SEWING MACHINE! and uh, oh ya, my family is going on a CRUISE to MEXICO! I am so excited because the last cruise I went on, I was pretty young and I can't really remember it, but when we go during spring break, I will surely remember it. It is going to be so awesome. And to make it better, we are going with some family friends. It is so happy. I am loving this Christmas.

The Inner Kiddie!

Whoo hoo! There is no more school for the rest of this year! I am so happy! It's going to be nice to sit back and relax for a while. And, sleeping in will be a huge part of my happiness this season. I am going to go skiing and I am also going to enjoy staring at my Christmas tree with the lights off! It's just going to be a great Christmas all around.
I made my friends cute cute cute pillowcases. They are the colors of everyone's room. They all loved them and they were fun to make with my Mama. I got TONS OF CANDY from everyone else too. Not such a great idea, but I guess they don't have to put up with the craziness that candy causes. Well, I will blog later, but I have to get ready for a birthday party.

That's What I'm Talking About!

Only one day of school does a person a lot of good. Seriously, this week was supposed to be short anyways, but thanks to bad weather conditions, there was only one day of school on Monday. So now we have an extra long Thanksgiving weekend. Also, Pomerelle opens today, so my family is going skiing tomorrow and then on Friday we will have our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
We aren't going to Lava Hot Springs anymore because my Grandparents don't want to risk somebody getting hurt. So, we get to have another Thanksgiving all by ourselves. Last time we did that, it was so fun. We just ate whenever we wanted and we sat and watched tv. It was one of the best holiday weekends I had ever had.So, I am really looking forward to eating whenever and whatever I want. I am just going to listen to Christmas music and snuggle up and watch movies.

Party Time!

So last night I went to a surprise birthday party for my friend Cade. We had tons of fun people there, which was good, because he was pretty mad that night. We had some great food, and some awesome people. We did a video scavenger hunt, and that was amazingly fun. We all watched each others videos afterwards, and we were lauging so hard while we were throwing candy at each other. We also entertained ourselves with night games, which was pretty great. We are just crazy teens having crazy times. It's pretty good though, when you are at my age when you can go to teen dances with all of your friends, but you can also have fun parties. Anyway, I totally love Halloween, and my friend Nikela is having another party tonight! Can't wait.

Baby Names

Okay, seeing as it's Jenna, this is a totally random post. Me and my friends have been talking about what we would name our kids when we get older, so here are my top 10 names for boys and then girls.
1-Aiden, 2- Braeden, 3- Lucas, 4- Logan, 5- Cason or Carson, 6- Gage, 7- Tyler,
8- Landon, 9- Keagan 10- Kyler. These arent in order, well, not really. Haha, here are the girlie names.
1- Leah(I absolutely love this name) 2- Elena, 3- Nora, 4- Brielle, 5- Allison,
6- Reagan, 7- Claire, 8- Ella, 9- Paige, 10- Taryn.
Well there you have it folks (whoever you are) Those are names that my kids will most likely have. But, that doesn't include middle names. Well, I will have to mix and match, because I'm pretty sure that I won't have 20 kids like the family on TLC. Who knows though?

The Stomach Bug

Wow, it's again that time of year (which it seems is all year) that the yucky stomach bug is coming around. I absolutely hate it, but I don't get sick all that often. It is just not fun to have and so far, both of my parents have it so my chances of getting it are like pretty high. Apparently it went through the high-school volleyball team, so it must have traveled on. I hate how people come to school with it though. I wish those people would stay home and rest and watch some SVU like me.

TGIF!

Holy heavens to Hannah! I am so happy that it is Friday! School is starting to get annoying for me. It has lost all of the excitement and has moved into the stage of annoyingness. I am just exhausted right now. It is the Homecoming game toinght, so that will be fun. I just need to relax, but I have so much homework, so guess who will be in her room for the entire weekend working? Me, if you didn't already get that. So, anyways, I will just do it and go back on Monday fresh and tired ready to slug through a whole new week.

The Sweet Smell of Fall

I am so happy that it is fall. I really enjoyed my summer by all means, but it just seems like it is time to settle down with fall. I love the crisp fall air, and the beautiful colors that comes with it too! I love the smells that come with fall too, like cinnimon and pumpkin pie! I especially am fond of Thanksgiving, and I am definately looking forward to that. But more of that later. Recently, I have been getting into the art of pie making. (Well, sort of) Today I made a banana cream pie, which happens to be my absoulute favorite, and I also made a chocolate cream pie. They are really yummy! I also helped my mom make some tasty chicken cordon bleu. We are having them tomorrow and I can't wait. I am very tempted to just finish them tonight so that I can eat them! Also, tonight is a teen dance, and I am excited. I will actually have some friends to hang with, so that is good. I really love being 14,and I just feel so, I don't know, old I guess. Not like an oldie, but I feel more responsible, so we'll see how long that lasts. Peace off!

Conference Weekend

This weekend is sure to be great considering how I started it off. Last night I went to play nightgames, and it was so fun! All of my friends were there and we were so crazy. The worst thing that happened however was when my knee locked back when I was running, so I was limping for a little while. But, I was up and going in no time, but still didn't make it to the end in Fugitive. Anyways, Friday was crazy. Craters of the Moon in the morning/afternoon, lawn mowing in the evening and night games at night (obviously!) But now I get to settle down and work on homework from Friday while watching Conference. It will be great. And then tonight, I am going to the Haunted Mansion in Albion with my besties, so that will be very fun. I can't wait for the rest of the weekend to come!

Homework

Wow, my homework load hasn't been to complain-able this year, but since I am going to Craters of the Moon with honors science this Friday, my homework burden went way up. The good news is that it will be conference weekend, so that gives me plenty of time to waste away and finish my work last minute. Just kidding, I'm not a procrastinator. Hey, I know the definition of procrastinator, but I will tell you later. Well, pretty much the only reason that I blog is to let out some steam, so I don't really think that it matters to anyone how much homework I have. Whatever! Anyways, peace off everyone!

Just Another Day

Wow, Jr. High days are just wonderful, right? The answer is..... depends on who you are. My year this year is way better than last year so far, which is great. I have mostly great classes and my favorites are law, honors science, geometry, and being a teachers aid. I am really happy with all of the new electives that they have had this year, so that is a plus. I am doing pretty well so far in school (I hope!)School is just school and it will always be just school, so there you go!

So, as you can see....

I have had a major blog change, and I like it oobers. It is just fun to have a change once in a while, and I figure, changing Jenna, changing blog. In other news, school is going pretty great. I have good classes for the most part, and I make tons of friends like every day. It is really good to have such good social skills, and I have come to realize that it is actually a talent (I think) sent from God. I think it was meant to be that I have a way with words with so many different types of people. Anyways, being 14 is so great. I love being able to do so many more things. Seriously, I have so much more freedom. I can go to teen dances which by the way is a miracle in itself, and I can experience so much more in the Church. I just am in love with getting older (for right now.)I'm sure when I get to be old enough, I will just join the club of Mama's that turn 29 every year. Ha! Anyways, my blogging will be a little more frequent I think, so stay tuned for more wonderful posts from the Jenna.

Just A Recap

Well, I am back into the blogging process. Sorry to all of my rabid readers(ya, right)but, our computer has been muffed for like the past month. So, here I am now just saying that nothing too exciting has happened. So stay tuned until something does.
