SEATTLE!

The Young family reunion was so fun this year. It was like 22 hours of travel time not including all of our touring, but still, it was worth it. We traveled like all day Wednesday, but it wasn't the worst car drive of my life. Thursday we went to a Theo chocolate factory and learned about fair trade and saving gorillas through buying Theo chocolate bars. It was a fun tour with lots of mostly yummy chocolate. Later we went to the Seattle Mariners game who were playing the Texas Rangers. It was okay, but a little tiring after hearing my cousins say "GO MARINERS!" and then right after a contradiction of "SUCK MARINERS" Yeah, it was great. We did so many fun things and had really fun photo shoots. My dad took some great pictures. Here is a sample!

Dance Festival Week!

Hooray! Dance festival is OVER! It is sad to say goodbye to wonderful people, but that means that I don't have to be at the high-school 24/7. That isn't even a joke. Since I was my mom's personal assistant/pack mule I had to follow her around everywhere. On Thursday, I really was only home for 3-4 hours. Fun right? haha, NO! This year (and in this order) Thailand came at about 5:30 on Monday night, Mongolia (who didnt speak any English) came in at 11:30 p.m. Monday night, Egypt at 5:30 on Tuesday night, and China at 6:20ish on Tuesday night. The first night went smoothly because of the separation time. haha, on Tuesday however, Egypt was getting checked in and all, but we had to be to Steadman's to check in China. Well, we were at the Best Western to check in Egypt, so it was a race to get to Steadman's in time to check in China. Well, they beat us! Everything went okay, but there were many, many, many storms that made things a little difficult all week. It was really fun this year with all of the teams, and I got to represent U.S.A in the opener and closer. I still get a little teary eyed when I think of the teams leaving, but I will be okay. Honestly, the Dance Festival is SO AMAZING! Everyone should really consider hosting or being on the commitee, because it is one of the best experiences in my 13 almost 14 years. I always look forward to it and it is always amazing!
